The single check issue with the National Press Club has been resolved. They will give us separate checks on our meeting nights.
SAD NEWS
Major Winton "the magic major" Carroll, U.S. Army (ret.) passed away Thursday, Oct. 4 from heart failure. Winton a long time performer in our area and past president of Ring 50 and Assembly 23. He received two Purple Hearts and served in Europe under Gen. Patton.
His funeral will be held at Arlington Cemetery at the Old Post Chapel on Nov. 3 at 10:45am. Those planning to attend should arrive at least 30 minutes early.
